“The Diagnostic View Into the Microscope“ – A review

At MLL MVZ, we aim to provide exceptional hematological diagnostics and actively share our expertise. To that end, we hosted our first continuing medical education event, "The Diagnostic View Into the Microscope: Hematology in the Context of Clinical Practice, Diagnostics, and Therapy," at our facility on November 28 and 29.

A total of 25 colleagues from Germany and Austria were welcomed to Munich. During the training event, they gained in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of cytomorphology, immunophenotyping, cytogenetic, and molecular genetics. A particular highlight was the opportunity to perform independent cytomorphological and immunophenotypic assessments according to the current WHO classification and participate in integrated case discussions. 

During an exclusive laboratory tour on Saturday, participants had the opportunity to learn about digitized and automated laboratory processes and AI-supported diagnostics at the MLL MVZ.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the participants and speakers for their tremendous commitment, lively interest, and valuable contributions to the collegial exchange. We would also like to thank our organization team for their great work.

The event was certified by the Bavarian State Medical Association (BLÄK) and awarded 12 CME points. Due to the high demand and consistently positive feedback, we are pleased to announce that the event will be offered again on March 13 and 14, 2026.
